Hello, pet lovers! My name is Rebecca, and I'm more than just a pet groomer – I'm a lifelong animal enthusiast with a heartfelt commitment to our furry friends. Growing up, I was fortunate to share my life with both cats and dogs, and my passion for animals has only grown stronger with time. My journey took a significant turn six years ago when I received the incredible news that I was cancer-free. Faced with a newfound sense of gratitude for life's precious moments, I headed straight to Cardiff Dogs Home to adopt a dog. This was my way of giving back and offering another living being a second chance, just as I had received. Within a week, our home welcomed Daisy, an adorable and spirited companion, who quickly became an integral part of our family. Daisy's presence filled our lives with joy and warmth. I was looking for a companion for Daisy and came accross an organisation who were looking for help, they needed a foster for Indy, a brave soul rescued from one of the kill shelters in Romania. Although our journey together began as a foster, it soon became clear that she had found her home, and we couldn’t let her go. My most recent addition to the family is Ernie, a pup who, along with his siblings, was discovered in a forest in Greece, left to fend for themselves. Their resilience touched my heart, and Ernie found his forever home with us. (His siblings were rescued by a friend and another family member, so they are still see each other regularly.) These three incredible animals, Daisy, Indy, and Ernie, serve as my constant inspiration for my work as a pet groomer. Their stories remind me of the importance of compassion and the need to support local dog and cat rescue centres. I also take immense pleasure in being part of a team who support Helen's Greek Strays, an organization that tirelessly works to feed, protect, and find loving homes for the stray animals in Greece, just like Ernie and his siblings. With each grooming session, I pour my love, care, and dedication into the pets I work with, and it is my sincere desire to help your furry companions look and feel their best.
